Recently, Hasaan Hayat, a PHP undergraduate working with Dr. Peter Wang, had his abstract, Molecular imaging and analysis of uMUC1 expression levels in response to chemotherapy in an orthotopic murine model of ovarian cancer, accepted to the World Molecular Imaging Congress 2019 meeting in Montreal. In addition to the acceptance of his abstract, Hasaan has received a $250 Lyman Briggs Student Travel Award, a $650 WMIC Student Travel Stipend, and a top abstract commendation. Hasaan is majoring in Neuroscience at MSU.
