I graduated from Michigan State University in 2021 with my B.S. in Microbiology. I hope to attend graduate school and earn my M.S. in Genetic Counseling to pursue a career as a genetic counselor. During my time as an undergraduate I worked with the Sempere Lab and am excited to continue my research in this new position. My current projects revolve around exploring the role various microRNAs play in tumor progression and development within pancreatic cancer. Much of my work involves working with the animals and maintaining our animal colonies. Outside of the lab, some of my hobbies include dancing, reading, and spending time with my dogs.
