Dr. Moore was appointed as the Associate Dean for Research Development (ADRD) in the College of Human Medicine. In the ADRD role, Dr. Moore will lead college-wide effort to improve the quality and quantity of research grant applications submitted to federal and other funding sources. For this Dr. Moore will establish training and workshop opportunities for faculty as well as develop strategies to provide review and advice to PIs for their research grants. In addition, Dr. Moore will help facilitate and provide support for development of large complex research grants, training grants and career development grants. In this role, Dr. Moore will also help strategize increasing grant submission by trainees by providing development opportunities for faculty mentors. Both Drs. Moore and Lipton will also work with SADR to implement key college and university strategic plans that will increase federal as well other research funding.
