Dr. Ping Wang has been selected to as an inductee to the Academy for Radiology & Biomedical Imaging Research Council Early Career Investigators in Imaging (CECI2) class of 2022.
Since its establishment in 2014, the CECI² program has continued to develop and become increasingly impactful, having now reached over 130 young investigators. With a mix of both MD and PhD’s alike, early career investigators have been nominated or sponsored by Academy member departments and societies.
The Academy is an advocacy organization committed to advancing research in medical imaging to promote the health and well-being of patients. By engaging a community of developing and experienced imaging scientists, novel technology experts, patients and their advocates, they promote shared learning and communication on both current research and future initiatives. The Academy also informs the public and policy makers about how imaging and image-guided therapies translate into disease prevention, earlier and more accurate diagnoses, and improved quality of health care.
