I earned both my B.S. in Zoology and my M.S. in Food Safety from Michigan State University. I did my master’s thesis work at the U.S. FDA Center for Veterinary Medicine validating biomarkers of inflammation in relevant food animal species. I am currently working with the Moore and Sempere labs to study various prevention strategies and treatments for breast and pancreatic cancer utilizing multiple imaging modalities. My primary role is to conduct and assist with experiments involving animal work. In my free time, I enjoy reading, working on puzzles and taking walks with my two dogs and my husband.
