(Niklas) Alexander Wahl is an international grad student pursuing his master’s in the Horibata lab. He recently earned a Bachelor of Science in International Biochemistry. This program includes a 2-semester stay abroad, which he completed at MSU from August ’23 to June ’24. During this time, he rotated in the Horibata lab and subsequently wrote his bachelor’s thesis there. After his return in February ’25, he will continue his project in the lab as a short-term scholar. He will be working on research into a novel active substance for the treatment of cancer. Building on his bachelor’s thesis, he will write his master’s thesis on this topic.
In his free time, he enjoys SCUBA diving, wakeboarding, and sports in general.
