Sujan Mondal is a research associate in the Dr. Anna Moore lab at Precision Health Program, Department of Radiology, Michigan State University. He is from India and received his Ph.D. degree in Chemical Sciences from CSIR-IICT, Hyderabad, India. His Ph.D. work focused on the development of cationic lipid-based liposomal nanoparticles for the delivery of small molecules and DNA tumors. Then he moved to Mayo Clinic, FL for postdoctoral study where he worked on the development of nano-engineered stem cells for glioblastoma treatment. Prior to moving to MSU, he was a postdoctoral associate at the University of Pittsburgh where he was working on nanoscale flow cytometry to develop an early detection method for melanoma diagnosis using extracellular vesicles. Outside his research, he likes to play cricket and spent time with his family
