I am a senior currently majoring in Genomics and Molecular Genetics through the College of Natural Science. I intend to graduate with my bachelors and continue to the master program for Genetics here at MSU. After graduating I plan to pursue a career in cancer research and genetic counseling. I am very grateful for the opportunity to be a part of the Precision Health program and I hope to learn from this experience. I work as a part of the Sempere Lab, where my research task mainly involves working alongside Erin investigating crisper/cas9 gene editing of ER alpha for breast cancer prevention. When I’m not working in the lab or doing school work I enjoy hobbies such as playing video games, reading, playing basketball, exercising , and cooking.
