I received my B.S. in Neuroscience and B.S. in Human Biology as well as a minor in Pharmacology and Toxicology from Michigan State University. In my undergraduate career, I studied olfactory-mediated sexual and aggressive behaviors and monitored the motor functions of a transgenic mouse model of SBMA. Currently, I am a research assistant in the Sempere and Moore labs. My work employs in vitro and in vivo models of pancreatic and prostate cancer, focusing on treatments and preventative strategies. Outside of work, I enjoy cooking, playing with my two cats, and doing puzzles.
