My name is Aixia Sun and I am a Post Doctorate scholar at the Precision Health Program. I received my M.D. from Harbin Medical University, China and my Ph.D in Radiology and Nuclear Medicine from Sun Yat-sen University, China. I was a Clinical Fellow at Sun Yat-sen Hospital, Fudan University, China and a visiting scholar at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, MA. My research interests are the generation of functional islet cells, image-guided stem cell therapies for diabetes, and novel molecular imaging methods to monitor transplanted cells for diabetes. In my free time, I like to cook and swim.
