My name is Hasaan Hayat.  I am a Neuroscience and Human Biology Majors at Lyman Briggs College at Michigan State University.  I am in Peter Wang’s Lab at Precision Health Program, MSU. I currently preform research on Deep Learning based analysis of SPIO nanoparticle accumulation to assess tumor response to chemotherapy via Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) with contrast enhanced Iron-Oxide nanoparticles. Additional work in the lab includes Magnetic Particle Imaging, stem cell culturing and staining via Immunohistochemistry, as well as qPCR analysis of tumor lesions. I particularly enjoy programming and hiking in my time away from my studies and duty as an entrepreneur to my software company, Paradigmapps, LLC. and aspire to go into medical school after completing my undergraduate studies. I also have a pet parrot named puffy that I love and a twin brother with a very similar name as me.
