I am a PhD student in the Cell and Molecular Biology program in the lab of Dr. Sachi Horibata. I graduated undergrad from the University of North Carolina Wilmington with a B.S. in biology. After undergrad, I spent a year and a half in a postbac program at the NIH in Bethesda, Maryland studying Multiple Myeloma. I am now focusing on understanding the role of microtubules in chemoresistance in ovarian cancer. In my free time I enjoy playing video games, doing crossword puzzles and brewing my own beer.
